Home. A place or the people?

Family is beautiful, isn't it? Childhood is supposed to be magical; blessed with innocence and that lovely simplicity. A time for family, development and fun.

Well, not for all.
Some people are robbed of that.
Some are forced to grow up too quickly. They never got the chance to be immature and be a kid. Some didn't get to grow in a loving atmosphere. Their eyes and ears absorbed every word, every fight, evey glare and everything.

How do you love when you have no clue what love is? when you have no clue how it feels to be loved.

How does someone move past from that? How do you heal from the hurt given by people who were supposed to protect you from hurting?
Is it even possible to fix the utterly damaged ones?

Her Side Of Silence de Bebo1176

. On the day her twin sister "died," or that what she thought everything she knew shattered. She remembered the scream, the fall, the blood-and then the world changed. In the chaos, no one asked her what really happened. They didn't care to hear her version. Her parents, once the warmth in her world, turned cold overnight. The brothers who loved her most began to look at her like a monster. Whispers filled the house. Accusations behind closed doors. She was blamed, judged, and punished-not by strangers, but by her own blood. And then, without warning, they sent her away. A boarding school in another country, they said, as if it were for her own good. But it wasn't a school-it was a cage dressed in discipline. Far from home, far from love, she entered a place no child should ever be. Hidden behind iron gates and smiling lies, that school was a breeding ground for cruelty. Every corner held secrets. Every night was a nightmare. And no one ever came looking for her. Not a single letter. Not a single call. They forgot her- Years passed. . And then came the call. Her family wanted her to return. As if they still had the right to call her back. But the girl who left never came back-not really. What returns now is someone colder, quieter, sharper. She tells herself she feels nothing for them. That she's learned to live without love. That hatred is easier than hope. But buried beneath the years and pain, there is still a small voice inside her-a child's voice-aching to be believed, to be seen, to be forgiven for a crime she never committed. Will her family finally face what they've done? And when the truth comes out-will it set her free, or break her all over again?

"My mother named me Miracle, but I am anything but a miracle in her and our family's life. I am a mistake. I am a product of a heinous crime." Miracle Astor was born after the rape of her mother. Aurora Astor was convinced by everyone in her family to have an abortion when she found out that her assault had resulted in a child, but much to everyone's shock, Aurora kept the child, and after a long and excruciating labor, on her last breath, she said the word Miracle, which became her daughter's name. After Aurora died giving birth to her daughter, little Miracle was left under the care of her brothers, all of whom blamed her for the tragedy that happened to their mother. But in order to protect the reputation of their late mother and their well-known family name, the Astor brothers raised Miracle as their own and made the public believe that she was the full-blood daughter of the Astor family. Sixteen years later, Miracle became depressed and neglected as she carries the heavy weight of pain, guilt, and blame for what happened to her mother. But what happens when history tries to repeat itself with what happened to Aurora now threatening to happen to Miracle? And the terrible secret of their family cracks and reveals itself out to everyone? Will Miracle finally break? Will her brothers finally step in and be the brothers that she needed? Will someone stop the history from repeating itself and finally save Miracle? Read to find out! (CURRENTLY BEING EDITED)

Time Can't Heal This

29 partes Concluida Contenido adulto

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
