An escaped death row prisoner with an unknown first name, C. Hughes, who has an obsession with murdering and stuffing people teams up with Inigo Argyros, a social outcast who enjoys dark places, and Kevin Doyle, a chain-smoker, as he roams the world in hopes of finding and finishing something before his inevitable rearrest and sentencing to death.
College friends Leonardo Azevedo and Gordon Leith are new to being undercover police officers and are given duty after duty before eventually being tasked with apprehending a dangerous death row prisoner who happened to escape. That, of course, is C. Hughes.

Alice, a 20 year old girl lives in a school that trains assassins. Their sole purpose is to be able to shape the world in their own image, a better one. All the kids of the school have been picked up from the streets by Charles, the head of the school. Alice usually always works alone, but when she is put in a team with Aaron and Travis the tension and conflict is high. Alice, is a loner and has a bad temper, she prefers not to share her life and victuries with others. Aaron is a smart-ass who only cares about winning a fight, no matter the cost. Travis on the other hand is a nice laid back guy, who just wants everyone to be happy and at peace. Their training is hard and they often hurt each other, both mentaly and physically, but life at the school is the only life they know. Tension continues to be high, when Charles tests the new team and pushes them to be better. This story is exactly what it sounds like, it is a school, which trains assassins packt with action and thrilling chapters, filled with love, trauma and pain. Gemma Conners is your average eighteen year old and for the past two years she's been riding the subway to and from school with no problem. She always expected the same ol' same ol'. Cramped spaces, hard seats, and perverts staring her up and down and "accidentally" bumping into her and blaming it on the train as it jostled people into one another. In the not-so-distant future evolved humans emerged. Those who had powers that broke conventional laws of physics, chemistry, and biology were dubbed E.H.s (evolved humans); it was wondrous for a time. Of course if there was power to be used there would be those who misuse. To that end the evolved humans police department was formed to deal with all crime committed by or connected to E.H.s, a force entirely comprised of E.H.s trained to stop and capture any E.H. breaking the law. Adlet Blacksteel is the newest edition to the E.H.P.D., his skills and experience as a hostage extractor makes him an invaluable edition. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire.
