When the world is only left with two successful and peaceful civilizations, you have to be grateful to live there. But maybe not. Meet Hannah Emery, she lives in the Gate with her friends. But when one day a red sports car hits Hannah and her friend, she is thrown for a ride. Before the car hit her, Mia was going to tell her something about the Governs no one knew. But she missed the chance. Hannah and her best friend Luke meet Trenton, a shy but brave guy, and Titus, a determined guy training to be a cop. When Hannah finds out who really hit her she is determined to leave the Gate, her only home shes ever had.
