The Black Coast
Its been two thousand years since humanity lost their home planet and a thousand since they first made landfall on the world they now call home. The trip was long and fraught with danger but they managed to survive in no small part to the new gods they found along the way. The Celestial Court granted life to various forms of variant human species, sculpted to perfection as the next evolution for mankind. After a thousand years however humanity finds itself on the edge of collapse, as technology from the old world breaks down more and more the people of the new world are regressing into a more feudal state of living. As technology declines and degrades, magic and the supernatural has become the norm. Conflicts are on the rise between the different factions of the Celestial Empire all while the gods themselves watch from above silently. In one small corner of the Empire rests the Black Coast, home to the mysterious and ostracized race known as the Twins. It is in this quiet place that a set of triplets will determine the fate of not just the Empire, but the world as a whole for decades to come. --- This is a book I've been working on for a few years when I have the time. The year was 2098. I was a spacecraft and jet pilot during an era of relative peace. No robotic apocalypses, no zombie outbreaks, no meteor showers-nothing of the sort. Humanity had even established a presence on Mars. Yet, beneath this calm, a sinister force was thriving on the Red Planet. Whispers of a terrorist organization began circulating, hidden within the colonies. Now, they have completely seized Mars for their own dark motives. This group, The Mars Philanthropics (MP), had a name steeped in irony. They claimed to be "lovers of mankind," but in reality, they were far from benevolent. Their so-called charitable mission concealed a darker agenda. I wasn't a member of the military. Instead, I led my own organization-TAF (Terrorist Annihilator Force). Though small in size, we boasted the most seasoned and capable operatives. When the government realized the extent of MP's influence, they turned to us for help. This wasn't just another mission-it was a call to action against the most pervasive terrorist group in history. I'm regarded as the best spacecraft pilot, but this mission will challenge everything I've ever known. But now I face a choice more difficult than any before: let my friends-who are like a family for me-die or kill a family member who is nothing more than a stranger to me. Will I complete the mission? However, Earl stepped in and pleaded for humanity's relocation instead of their annihilation. You see Earl himself was earth born. Only as a teenager, did he discover his 5D abilities. He saw the progress humanity had been making. He knew they had learned from their past environmental failures. In his opinion, the people of Earth didn't have to die.
