This is the story of my dnd character, Winter. I've brought them to my TikTok (@moon_and_starlight1) but have not described much outside of what I've just shown in videos, so this is my best attempt at writing their story that's been in my head. It is a story of love, loss, grief, and revenge. I will warn you from the beginning, this is not a story with a happily ever after. (For now at least)

*Winter is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, if you can't respect that- don't read

Enjoy!

*COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. He will look into my sightless eyes and see my futile existence isn't worth living. He will kill me, and he will be doing the pack a justice by it. He growls a low, throaty snarl to warn me about disobeying an alpha. There will be consequences, we both know that. His lingering growls let me know he is not going to allow me to contravene his word. I steadily inch my head upwards, visibly shaking everywhere else. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it. "You're blind." ~ Monet was born into a particularly prestigious area of her wolf pack, to parents of extremely high standards. Her legacy is to become the packs next healer, but when she was born completely devoid of melanin, all her mated parents saw was a disappointment. Being born an albino wolf pup meant a lot for Monet, but it mostly meant her condition had taken her eyesight along with it. What happens when Monet meets the Alpha of a neighboring pack? Will he accept her for what she is? ~CONTENT WARNING~ This book contains depictions of physical abuse, foul language, and upsetting scenary. This book is in no way, shape, or form glorifying domestic abuse of a parent or partner. This book is intended for individuals who feel at odds with their self due to their uniqueness. Book #1 in The Bonds of Fate Series "Excuse me sirs, but I think one of you dropped something." She spoke, her eyes not entirely fixed on them. Her voice was angelic, he already loved it. He found himself thinking that he would be content to listen to the sound for the rest of his life. "Thank you, beautiful." The Alpha responded quickly, motioning to one of his pack members to pick it up. "You have very good hearing." "Well, I guess it's compensation" She chuckled slightly, "I mean, these don't do me any good." She gestured towards her eyes, turning more towards where the sound of his voice had originated from. "I hadn't noticed that you were..." He trailed off. Though surprised, his desire and need for his mate never decreased. "Blind?" *** For Leora Kotas, life in Willsden Brooke was a continuous cycle. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. So, I decided to re-write the original sequence of a short story, same plot and characters, just with current skill. Comments and feedback are appreciated, please enjoy!
