Everyone grows bored eventually. Kids, animals, someone's wife, and even abhorrent horrors from the Cosmos. Usually, when we get bored, we just turn something on TV or our phones.
These guys? They host a tournament with Kaiju from different worlds just because they can. I mean, what's to stop them?

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Completa

After their town is destroyed by kaiju, childhood friends Yozora Khaos, Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro both vow to become members of the Japanese Anti-Kaiju Defense Force (JAKDF) to fight kaiju together. Mina has since become the captain of the JAKDF's 3rd Division and is valued due to an ability that makes her shots highly destructive. Kafka has failed the examination numerous times and works in a clean-up crew that disposes of kaiju remains after battle. While Yozora...Let's just say he was given a different path than his childhood friends...A fate that will lead him to become...The Wailing Perversion.
