MAD WOMAN
My sister has always attracted the wrong crowd who didn't hesitate to take advantage of her meek heart. Right from small, Zikora's naïvety always made me fight with every single one of her 'friends'. I have never been comfortable with any of her so-called friendships. Not even the one she was in at the moment with her new roommate. Funny enough was that I actually liked their relationship. It was pure, true, and more of a sisterhood. For the first time in history, Zikora made a true friend. I inwardly approved of the friendship, when the girl in question, didn't think twice in lunging a frying pan at my little sister's ex-boyfriend. And I know as you're reading this, you may ask yourself, what was my issue then? My issue wasn't with the friendship, but the babe herself. Her appearance reminded me of that Disney princess that had the complexion of a vampire. Snow White, very innocent looking creature. But that girl was the definition of a werey in disguise. Chineke ekwela! And I know you've already started judging me as the problematic character already. I am not problematic, she is. You may begin to think that okay I'm probably overreacting. Oga, Aunty, I am not overreacting. On the first day of meeting her, this babe carried her old fashioned okrika shoe that looked like it suffered for nineteen years, and threw it at the glass of my car while I was driving. After an attempt to make you happy, your parents take you to a soccer game. Then you find a soccer player that caught your eye, and his eye as well. Slowly and slowly you guys seem to find each other wherever you go. 2|| Being on and off with the famous soccer player, it's causing a ton of stress for the both of you. Not to mention, your old possessive boyfriend moved near you. This causes you to have to pick between him, or Kevin. Both of the men want you back, but the fighting is to hard. 3|| chaos, destruction, desire and depression lingering in the air. It all seems to cool down when you made your final choice on who you wanted, the love triangle ended, and you and Kevin were happy. No more drama, right? Well, you were far off from right. The story hasn't even begun. And not a happy ending. - Kevin let you push him down. He actually felt relief. The feeling of you touch on him again felt good. He didn't care if it was only just a touch. He missed you, but he still hated you. He still hated how you made him cry, how be you played him. He still hated you because he still loved you. You looked him in the eye, his hair was fluffy and his clothes were all messed up. That made him look so attractive, you just wished he liked you. You knew he hated you. He looked you in the eye as well, he didn't know what you were gonna do. But he just wished you start touching in him, for some reason he longed for that. To his surprise you did. You started to touch down his chest, feeling that dwelling pain of sadness go away. And lust take its place. You sat onto top of him, Kevin let it happen. A Zurena FanFic. One-shot, but really, really long. 2nd person/Zulema's POV (Congratulations, you get to be Zulema)! Set in Season 5. Takes place after New Year's but prior to Maca telling Zulema that she quits. I wrote this to make El Oasis make sense in my own head, because while the Zurena interactions were on point, the story-line was total crap. I'd prefer not to give too much away here, but I understand that people like to know what they are getting themselves into, especially given the length of this work. So I will say this... This is written as a sort of stream-of-consciousness piece that takes a dive into Zulema's psyche as she navigates a meaningful day and reflects on herself and her relationship with Maca. It's written from Zulema's perspective, and truthfully second-person usually isn't my favorite, but it just felt right for this story. So for those of you who find that approach awkward, I hope you will still give it a chance. This is the first fic I have ever written, so feedback is truly appreciated. And since I couldn't get the d@mned Dedication option to work, I will add that here as well- This fic is dedicated to my little fried shrimp who inspired me to write it, encouraged me to publish it, helped me with the Spanish bits, acted as the world's greatest sounding board, and without whom it would not have ever happened. After our third anniversary, he started to become cold. He no longer joins me studying, he was even reasoning out that he's tired all the time and that he couldn't send me home.
