Ace of Spades

Slowly. Extremely slowly , I tore open my eyes , only to be met with the intense gaze of the sun , which streamed through the light curtains that danced with the rhythm of the wind, turning this way and that , so gracefully as if they had their own souls. The light breeze traveled through the rest of the room reaching the dark oak wood desk that was situated at the corner of the room,lifting the paper slightly and enveloping them into a coordinated dance, as if they were suitors watching each their own graceful ballerinas. The breeze reached my body, as goosebumps crawled their way up my bare arms , but I made no intention to move, to not disturb the perfect peace that was created by my early morning awakening.
