Ashton Black has always wonder if there was more to David 8 than him 
being an android. After all though, he understand human emotion yet 
doesn't feel them himself but Ash feel as though that may be a lie. 
Though David can't lie, he can manipulate people. So is there more to

Mature themes, and strong language! 18+ only. It's been 10 years, since Kate chose Logan. 10 years since she broke Rome's heart. As I make my way back, I accidently bump into a man. "Oh gosh, I'm sorry." I say apologetically. "It's fine. Don't worry." His voice. I know that voice. "Rome?" I say in disbelief. The man pulls down the hood on his jacket, revealing his face. It is Rome. He looks older, he still looks good, but I can see, he's not in a good place in himself. He's smiling, but behind that smile, his eyes are full of sadness, and anger. "Hey Kate." He whispers sheepishly. My mouth opens to reply, but no words come out. I'm in shock. It's been a little over 9 years. He's the same, but he's not. "H_how have you been?" I say stuttering a little. "I've been good. How are you?" Our eyes meet for a split second, there's something there, I don't know what it is, but his eyes are trying to say something. "I've been.. Good." I shrug. I'm not lying, but I suppose right now, things could be better. What else could I say? Oh, me and your old best friend, you know that one that betrayed you? Yeah well him, we kinda had a fight, because we were about to have sex, and he didn't want to use a condom, he wants more kids, I don't. So I've been searching for him. I can't find him though. Yeah. No. I won't say that. "Where's Logan?" He says looking around. Ugh, what am I supposed to say? "Oh, he.. He will be back soon. He went for a walk." Such a bad liar. "Want some company, while you stroll around?" He says so innocently. I know I shouldn't, but I can trust myself, and Logan should know he can trust me too. So I just nod, and we begin to walk. Little does Kate know, meeting Rome after 10 years, will begin a rollercoaster ride. One that brings the good, the bad, the ugly, and a wolf in sheep's clothing.

No, for him, greatness was an experience package delivered from the collective penguin mind to him by mistake. What Dave had actually ordered was a surfboard, a fishing rod, two tickets to a warm remote beach, and a simple life. He was about to have the most extreme ongoing 'spiritual' experience imaginable. The problem was that nobody could give a logical explanation as to what it actually was, what it was about, and what he was supposed to do about all the ongoing strange events, and his new found highly technical understanding of it all. In the Antarctic the world was much simpler, less confusion, less noise, less chaos. But now the question was should he save the world, or just hope the whole problem thing would all go away and leave him alone. Yes, he may know all the answers to life, the universe and everything, from quantum physics, psychology, biology, philosophy, natural sciences, technology etc. Yes every day of his life now read like a Dan Brown novel, but he was just a penguin after all, in a simple world of ice snow and fish. Besides nobody had asked him to have this thing, he didn't want to know anyway, he was just a bloke penguin minding his own business. So even though he 'knew all', what could he do about it all, and why should he anyway ? The answers were extreme, and more than a bit surprising.

(Sequel to Human After All.) With the crash landing of the Juggernaut and the destruction of the Prometheus, and with the promise of leaving; Elizabeth Shaw, Alma Meadows and David find themselves in a trying predicament. Returning home does not seem to be an option, finding the Engineer's home world, however, is. By his own admission, David states he could get them there, but he'd rather they fixed him along the way, being a decapitated head isn't the lifestyle for him. With LV-223 far behind, things if anything get more strained as both humans slowly run out of supplies, having been reduced to succumbing to hypersleep, both expect to be woken when they arrive on the Engineer's planet, thus leaving David alone on the commandeered Juggernaut. Only, being left alone doesn't mean he will just spend his time minding his business like he did when on the Prometheus, no, David has ideals, has plans, and getting rid of the Engineers is just step one. After many, many years, when a crew appear suddenly, he cannot help but find curiosity in them, even more so when an android, a brother in arms, is with them. Who and why are the crew of the Covenant here? And who are the other mysterious colonists which keep getting mentioned? Not all is what it appears to be within Paradise, and honestly, David doesn't find himself caring all that much.
