In the past they're the inseparable duo everyone knows and loves. Adrien and Marinette spend years pining over each other. Both are too afraid to say anything with the risk of losing their friendship.
In the present they despise each other for the events of the past.
Marinette and Adrien are the best agents in the FBI business. When they get paired up to figure out the identity of Hawkmoth and take him down they have to face many obstacles. The main one being them having to put the past aside to solve the case.
As the pressure rises, the line between love and hate begins to blur. Is it possible to love someone beneath all the hate?
Will it be love? War? Or possibly both?

This story is full of soulmates, vampires, and powerful adversaries. Miraculous magic, in kwami form, does not exist, but it is important to this series. Read to find out how our protagonist navigate the world of vampires and humans when magical blood properties influence everything. Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir.
