Thanks to @Dorothyden for the idea!

In this rp you'll only be able to play as a Drolgon. (I might allow WoF dragons later once this book has gained enough popularity, though.)

The story for this roleplay:
In an alternate dimension from Eclipse's, there is unrest.
The world, made up of one huge continent that split into five, is breaking apart just like the once-close bonds of the five Pacrees.
They are at war, at the beginning of an era of tears and blood.
The Pacrees and the split continent are slowly shifting away from each other, and the scars left in the world might never heal.
The spirit realm is desperate to save their descendants. They've tried everything, and they're near giving up.
As a last resort, they have selected five Drolgons; one from each Pacree, who the Spirit Realm believes are all capable of doing great things.
The five now have to handle their own problems and those of their Pacree-mates while all the while the world is in more and more need of saving... will the five be able to fulfill their destinies and reunite the broken continent?

In a small village, half hidden along a mountainside, Kieren was slinking between shadows. Footsteps sure even with so little moonlight. The softest brush of bare skin against knobbled and far-reaching trees. Not even a whisper of sound from stepping on the coarse dirt beneath his feet. In this world, Drakes were the epitome of power amongst the species. Only making up 10% of the population, humans making up the other 90%. Drakes could be found in the highest positions of power in communities or in positions to protect others (such as guards, watchmen, knights, patrolman). No one questioned this, dragons taking care of their own. A private species with traditions and rules that only dragons were privy to. Making sure none over-reached so that there would always be peace and harmony amongst the dragon territories and between humans. A symbiosis that all worked hard to maintain. Humans were born with vibrant and colorful hair throughout the world. The more rare the color, the more blessings, respect, luck and riches came to them. Fiery red, leafy green, aqua blue. Eyes that matched their brightest feature. Dressing in the same colors or even brighter shades to demonstrate their extravagance, their standing in society. They normally worked side by side with the higher ranking dragons, helping to keep harmony. All Kieren knew was that he would have to remain cloaked, face obscured at all times. The villagers said he was a defect, so they made him their servant. His skin too pale. Form too slight. Eyes not right. An ugly thing where he should be thankful they did not kill him right away. To be grateful for their pity and staying their hand. The worst, they would tell him, was about the coloring of his features; his hair and eyes. It was a color that had never been seen before amongst humans or dragons. *Please read tags! Don't like, don't read, don't leave unhelpful nasty comments.
Blood Heat by Alreigch

"Owlbears are some of the most ferocious creatures ever seen in the Forgotten Realms. Anything or anyone unlucky to come across them is liable to be torn apart by these territorial, oversized and aggressively temperamental monstrosities. Avoid at all costs. An area frequented by Owlbear activity should be evacuated of all civilians until hunters can be summoned who are strong, brave, and foolish enough to attempt to take on such a beast. Equal efforts should also be attempted to placate or discover the reasoning behind any rampages; most often they are due to infringement on the Owlbear's claimed territory. Further information or study done of this species, or their lesser known and much larger offshoot, known as Royal Owlbears, is limited due to the high mortality rate of researchers, scholars and wilderness enthusiasts, caused by these creatures in their natural habitat. Under no circumstances should any underqualified person approach or intentionally draw near an Owlbear, lest they rouse their wrath. Their species possesses long memories and have been known to carry grudges, often enacting them with brutal consequences and massive collateral damage. They are most dangerous during the time of Blood Heat, when these already violent and bloodthirsty animals reach new heights of savagery. Caution is strongly advised." ~Page 406 of the Bestiary Compendium, by Monster Manuelle. *Owlbears are the property of Wizards of the Coast, Dungeons and Dragons, and all artwork belongs to their creators. (Part 1/3 of Discordant Note) (Part 2: Discordant Note: Crescendo | TBATE) Lady Dawn expected to die. After casting her soul to the wind, taking a one-in-a-million chance to escape the wretched dungeons of Taegrin Caelum, the once-caged songbird of the Asclepius wishes nothing more than to find her Hearth and warn them of the coming danger. Instead, she's found herself a shade, anchored to a young man who knows far too much-and with far less hope than she'd started with. Toren Daen, for his part, only wanted to make it home safely. Now he's in a world taken straight from the page, questioning what is real and what is fiction, and scrambling to make something worthwhile. And with his foresight, there's only one way that Toren can see to keep this new world safe: prevent the descent of the Legacy. But those in power will not make it easy: Nico Sever is in a league of power all on his own, and Arthur Leywin bears the burden of Fate a continent away. In this familiar-yet-not world of mana, monsters, and looming deities, any misstep along the roads of Alacrya and the High Sovereign's Dominion could lead to a Fate worse than death. But what is death to a phoenix? With a burning secret in his mana core, knowledge of the future, and a maelstrom of fears and questions, Toren might just survive to be more than what Lady Dawn expected him to be. He might just survive to waylay the encroaching tide of war and death in the proxy war between raging asura clans. More than all of that, he might just live. It's been fifteen years since Draco last saw Potter, but here he is in Draco's Ocularistry clinic, claiming one of Draco's products malfunctioned while he was painting and cost him an eye. Draco's ready to fit Potter with a prosthesis and send him on his merry way, but then the rest of Draco's patients start seeing mysterious symbols through their eyes, and the resulting blow to Draco's public reputation drags Scorpius's promising campaign to be the Ministry of Magic's official Creature Liaison through the mud. Draco is determined to fix it. If that means trudging through a boggy moor in search of a fictional species Luna thinks is causing their problems, Draco will just have to pluck up the courage, march in with a team of Gryffindors, and be ready to battle any beast they meet. Even if that beast looks less like the large, bipedal talking toads they find and more like the Ministry of Magic as a whole. * Tags: Canon typical violence, non-graphic descriptions of injuries to eyes, EWE, disability, POC Harry Potter, Black Astoria Greengrass, mixed Scorpius Malfoy, Black Hermione Granger, Black Rolf Scamander, original creatures, magical environmentalism, unique jobs, middle-aged Drarry, 72k words Pairings: Draco/Harry, Draco/Astoria (past, amicable divorce), Lavender/Parvati, Luna/Rolf, Ron/Hermione Disclaimer: All Harry Potter characters herein are the property of J.K. (Part 2/3 of Discordant Note) (Part 1: Discordant Note | TBATE) Toren Daen entered the Central Cathedral feeling hope, ready to challenge the High Vicar and prove his soul. He left it broken, his wings sundered and torn. But Toren has a spark; an ember of fire left in his heart that the people around him strive to rekindle. And if Fate is kind, he may just rise from this defeat like the ghostly phoenix bound to his soul. Toren knows he can help the world he has found himself in. Now, the only task is to flap the butterfly's wings-because Toren hopes to change the outcome of the Dicathian war. But it will not be so simple. The Scythes loom about him like the blades of executioners, always watching and waiting. The twisted politics of Alacrya have sunk their claws deep into Toren's soul, and though he may set foot on another continent with the hopes of giving the Dicathians a chance, those he cares for will always chain his heart. Arthur Leywin, twin Anchor for the Legacy, will not bend to the change Toren heralds so easily. Seris Vritra has plans of her own for Toren as they enter the war in Darv, and there is no telling if his desires fit anywhere within her schemes. The Hearth looms as a beacon of hope: if Toren lives long enough to make it there. And behind it all, two gods play a game of chess: and they both have a question on their minds as the war of lessers reaches a crescendo. How many times can a phoenix die before it will no longer rise from the ashes? (Updates Tuesdays/Saturdays) (Cover art commissioned by @_aphora_)
