With his hands crossed in front of him, the Professor watched the girl carefully, as if expecting her to break in tiny pieces.
"Would you mind if I asked who the father is, Miss Lombardi?" the man asked. "So we can ask him to meet you here." he clarified, as if the two of them didn't know that he was just a curious man, who liked to know the gossips that surrounded the students.
"Actually, I would, Professor." the girl sighed, dropping her hands to look at the old man in front of her. "Because I don't know who it is either."

Alright folks, you know how this goes - but this one's got a little extra spice. What if James Potter had a little sister? What if her past makes Azkaban look like a vacation spot? What if she's the one who decides it's time someone stood up for her nephew? And as for the dumb old whore... well, let's just say things might get awkward. A Marauder's Guide to Falling Apart
"So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so nervous. She moved her hands and allowed her fingers to trail slowly and gently down the side of his face and he involuntarily shivered at her touch. Eventually her fingers landed on his lips and she traced across them softly. They parted slightly and she could hear and feel him let out what she assumed to be an unintentional breath. He moved inwards, his lips pulling from her fingertips to hover near her ear. "I'm a thoughtful person." * After getting accepted into the Healer training program and moving to London, Marlene begins her life outside of Hogwarts. devotion | regulus black
― "I love you more than life itself," ― Althea Potter had always been a light. Where James burned wild and reckless, she glowed warm and steady, drawing people in with her laughter, her kindness, and her stubborn belief that everyone carried a spark worth loving. She was the sister who brightened shadows, the girl who never let anyone feel unseen. Regulus Black, on the other hand, was born of shadows. Cold where she was warm, distant where she was tender, sharp where she was soft-he was a boy sculpted by duty, drowning beneath the weight of a name that demanded silence, obedience, sacrifice. They were opposites, orbiting each other in disdain. She saw him as cruel and unfeeling, and he saw her as naïve and foolish. Yet the world has a way of binding the unwilling, and war makes strange companions of enemies. Slowly, through whispered arguments and stolen glances, Althea discovered the boy beneath the mask, and Regulus found himself yearning for the light he had spent his life rejecting. But love in times of war is fragile. It does not always save. Sometimes it destroys, quietly, beautifully, tragically. And when the end came-as it always would-they both learned that hatred can turn to love, and love can burn into something fiercer still. Something unshakable. Something eternal. Something that could only be called devotion. ☽｡⋆Complete
