The familiar sound of the nether portal humming fills his ears as he gets closer, feeling intimidated by the purple light with his dark it was. He steps into the portal's frame, and waits for it to take him to the nether, staring forward at the community house as he does so.

The only ROMANTIC relationship here is Karlnapity which is implied, not the main focus. Ranboo and Tubbo are platonic husbands, so it's a PLATONIC relationship. There is a moment of a panic attack, so keep that in mind. This is a rare friendship bonding moment, the duo called Enderfires as I like to call it, so don't see this as a ship.
