(Author's Note~) In this story there will be a mixture of "Quest for the ink machine" and a ship. Since the comic isn't going to continue  (I think), this story has references to the comic but with a few minor changes.  We begin with the Questers going through the forest, deciding to rest for a while. Boris wanders off, while walking along the trees, a portal appears in front of him, Brenda comes out of it, eventually they let her stay as long as she helps out. But Cuphead then starts suspecting something is up with her.
