I stood there watching as he walked away, not certain of what to do. Should I call out to him, run up and kiss him and pretend everything's okay? 

But I can't. Not after everything I've done. It wouldn't be fair to him and God knows I don't deserve him. So I just watch him as he walks away and out of my life.
