- Mushpellheim (eternal flame)- name of the planet of the people who hold the eternal flame.

- Balboerne (flame people) - name of the people who reside in Mushpellheim.

- Rune Layfenerne: The son of Loki Layfenson and Astrid Balboerne (Princess of Mushpellheim)

Time periods will switch between the chapters.
