Angel Reynolds and her brother, Carter Reynolds move to North Carolina due to family problems. Angel tends to be shy and a bit nerdy. She thinks that moving won't be fun and that it will be hard to make new friends. But Angel then realizes that her old childhood friend, Hayes goes to the same school.

But what will happen when she sees Hayes again? Will she fall in love? Will he hurt her?
