Stacy Brown has accepted her life for what it has become. She blames no one for the turn of events as she knows that her family is happy, healthy and alive because of her decision. Family always comes first.
When her dad died unexpectedly and her mom too fell ill, the bills just kept rising. Just out of high school Stacy Brown had a huge responsibility thrown upon her. Searching desperately for a job she comes across one that not just disgusts her but terrifies her too. But she has no other way so she accepts it. For her family.
Adrian Becker thinks differently. He lives his own life with no one to answer to. He doesn't believe in sacrificing everything for somebody or something.
He is a free-lance photographer who lives his life on his own rules. An orphan, he has never really had a family and doesn't understand the need to have and protect one. Adrian follows two rules; One: Never stay with the same girl for more than a week and Two: Never, ever, get attached to a girl.
When Adrian first bumped into Stacy he didn't expect to think twice about her. But something in her. Her eyes filled with pain, pulled him towards her. So much that he starts breaking his own rules and searches for her with nothing but a face and a Gucci bag.
But Stacy doesn't want to be found.
