You may or may not have probably read this book called "The Chocolate War" written by Robert Cormier in 1974 and was later adapted into a film in 1988. If you haven't read the book or seen the film, well here's a quick plot summary.
When Jerry Renault, a 14-year-old freshman refuses to sell chocolates at his school's annual chocolate sale, the leader of the school's secret society, Archie Costello, wants revenge against him by manipulating the entire school to do their bidding and turning everyone against Jerry- which ultimately leads to an unpleasant ending. But, what if the story had ended happily?
Would Archie learn his lesson? Will he finally see that power won't get him what he truly wants for himself? Find out in this story.
NOTE: This story is inspired by the movie, "A Christmas Carrol".
