Nathan Langdon... a young man born in Waco, Texas dreams to be a member of the US House of Representatives, writing bills to combat against mass shootings and gun violence, fight for criminal justice reform, immigration, and LGBTQ rights, but instead he became the Digital Officer at the White House, enticed by a huge sum of pay...

Having fascination with the internet, and some experience in social media and being a social media analyst when he frequents the internet when he was a young child, he is primarily tasked with looking after the White House's official website, assisting with the Communications Director and the Press Secretary, conveying messages in social media from the Pres. and Vice Pres. of the United States, while also analyzing and dealing with numerous hate speech posts, far-right extremism comments, and even against ordinary online trolls, and haters, even tipping the information on law enforcement when needed.

But beyond his work lifestyle... he is secretly interested in Japanese pop culture, especially shipgirls since his teenage years in Waco, and he plays a video game called Azur Lane while he is away from work, being referred to by most of the in-game characters as Shikikan (指揮官 / Commander). However, the fake news story, disseminated by foreign powers, is about to put his life, his job, his interests and fandom in Azur Lane, and his reputation, on a thin line...
