When Ellie Johansson got dumped from her now ex boyfriend, Levy Powell, she never really recovered. She became quiet, sad and closed off. At first, her other friends tried to coax her out of her thick shell but she refused time after time. Everyone then gave up. Everyone except for her two best friends Brandon and Skylar. They never gave up on her because she would never give up on them. Ellie soon realizes that Levy was never her one love. She's still young and stupid, as any other teenager is. So, she slowly emerges from her tight and stuffy shell and takes a step in life as a teenager again. The water is cool and bitter at first, but she doesn't retaliate. Never.
