Mason Perez was born with powers. Not knowing how or why, her powers continue to grow. After a life changing accident Mason vowed to never use her powers to hurt others. Once she turned 18 she joined the army. Within the first 3 years she moved up the ranks to Lieutenant Colonel. After another 4 years she was leading a small group on a information recovery mission in Germany. The mission went south, leaving her as the only survivor and severely injured. Mason was honorably discharged. In hopes of avoiding her past she goes into hiding. For 3 years it worked, until Nick Fury comes in asking for help. Now she's an Avenger.
