Enya Rosewood tries to lead a normal life, reading, doing her homework, and generally satisfying her parents, until she meets and befriends a 'new kid' named James Root. Jim Root isn't your normal teenage boy, Enya finds out that there is something more to him than she bargained for. He decides to let her in on his secret, but she quickly chooses to deny that 'super powers' exist. Until, one day, Jim decides not to show up to school, this doesn't really surprise Enya, until he doesn't show up for an entire week. Enya and bestfriend, Katherin, go on an adventure to try and find Jim to bring him back.
