Five hundred years ago, humans were enslaved and killed by the Brinemirage, an evil horde who ruled the world. Their power was derived from absorbing those of others. A slave escaped one day and tried to find someone who could help, traveling around the globe in search of anyone who could. Almost no one acknowledged him and they called him insane, with the exception of eight people. These eight individuals banded together to fight the Brinemirage. A war broke out between them, leaving the Brinemirage to lose and die. The dark era had finally come to an end. Later, these eight individuals became known as The Guardians. They came across land and called it Aneiden, which was later divided into five nations. Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit.
