Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.Complete

As Najwa mourns both her mom and the loss of her closest friend, Rain can't tear his gaze away from the golden remnants of their enemies and Rio does their best to keep everyone fed and healthy. Aspen isn't much help, not when he is holed up in his room, terrified of the power he holds. It's been said that you only realize the importance of someone when they're gone. Whether or not that is true, Aspen would give his life to get Phoenix back. There's guilt, undoubtedly, but also the fact that he has a huge crush on him. They have never even had the chance to kiss or confess their feelings, and that's just tragic. But hey, there's always a chance for a long-distance relationship. As you might imagine, the connection from one world to another isn't ideal. But if they can make it work, there's a chance to return Phoenix and the rest of the infected back to life.Complete

After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully.
