The story follows as Asta and his stepbrother Liebe face the end of the world as the sole survivors siding the human race in the Great War against demons.
After successfully defeating their greatest enemy costing them a huge sacrifice, aka their lives. The gods watching them took pity on their sad ending and gave them a new chance to bring back what was taken from them.
Will they be able to save everyone? Will they be able to keep everything they know a secret?

The young princess Kamiko of the Heart Kingdom was granted by her sister Lolopechka the Queen of the Heart Kingdom to travel to the Clover Kingdom to become something more. Since Kamiko was half Clover she received a grimoire on her 15th. Kamikos powers were extremely important and serious, they were dangerous and diabolical in a way. Kamiko traveled to the Clover Kingdom to become a Magic Knight which had been a dream of hers. She also believed the Captains there could aid her into becoming stronger. But slowly, over the course of a couple months, the Dark Triads feelings change for Asta, and they suddenly start to care for him. Then, one day, Liebe, unable to keep quiet anymore, tells Asta about his past. Including about a certain someone who uses the devil that killed Licitas powers. Asta cannot stay anymore. So he flees in the night. He is, however, unsuccessful on his escape attempt, and now must deal with the consequences of his actions.
