𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒍𝒂 𝑨𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂 𝑭𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 has always believed that love is a science-proximity, reciprocity, and the right balance of passion, intimacy, and commitment. For her, consummate love is the ultimate goal, and she's been in relationships before that taught her a lot, but none of them truly gave her that perfect balance she seeks. When she meets 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒋𝒆𝒓𝒐, a nursing student who's everything Kalila isn't-outgoing, athletic, and hopelessly romantic-her world is thrown into a whirlwind. Callen, known as CL to most but always called by his full name by Kalila, is fascinated by her intelligence and calm demeanor. He's everything she never thought she'd fall for. Their contrasting personalities make their connection both magnetic and challenging. However, Kalila is still nursing the emotional wounds from her past relationship with 𝑬𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒓𝒚𝒔 𝑳𝒆𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒐, whom she once thought would be the one. As she grapples with her feelings for CL, she wonders if her heart is still tied to the past or if she can move forward with someone so different from what she once imagined her perfect partner to be. Callen, on the other hand, hides a part of himself from Kalila-a fear of opening up fully. His love for her is undeniable, but a fear of losing her if he reveals his deepest thoughts holds him back. His letters to her, though filled with affection, are also weighed down with unspoken emotions. In a world full of failed relationships and unspoken truths, Kalila and Callen must navigate their own fears and uncertainties. Will their love survive the test of time, or will they discover that sometimes, love's perfect formula is not something to be understood but something to be felt?
