The old gods have abandoned everyone, and the new ones have no idea what they are.
Malyn was a lost girl. Raised in a drearily isolated town on a tiny island she had always felt to big for the world. The town and its people had never had any control over themselves.
The island was surrounded by monsters and ruled by a puissant city that was miles away. There were rules and customs and rituals that had to be followed and somehow, Malyn never could. She wanted an adventure.
