Sapnap would never confess to being afraid of rainstorms. But one night when the rain was pounding on his window and seemed like it would never stop, he had to make the decision to tell his roommate Dream. Once that secret was out, he only had one more to hide. His feelings for his best friend. For a while he passed them off as normal friend feelings but he always knew deep down that it was much more than that. He wanted to hold Dream, to kiss him, to call him whenever he needed. He wanted Dream to be his. Dream had seen his friend as more than a friend for a while. He would steal glances just to look at how Sapnap moved. How he would nod his head while listening to a conversation, just to show he was paying attention. How gracefully his arms moved while he cooked. How his lips moved while he spoke. Dream would never admit how scared he was of relationships. He'd only ever been in any with girls. None of them treated him how he should have been. So when Sapnap gives him the tiniest bit of attention, he wants to push away. He doesn't want to allow himself to be hurt again, no matter how much he had wanted to accept that. (I will be randomly switching from real names to their other names bc I can. If you don't know by now dream is Clay and sapnap is Nick. Nothing in this story is supposed to represent their real lives in anyway shape or form. I'm honestly just writing this whole thing as a joke so yeah. Swag)
