Transcendence

Fire. Air. Water. Earth.

Before she died, Avatar Korra did everything she could to put the world at peace, whether it was stopping wars, improving the economy, or even defending the planet from an alien invasion. She put the world in such a state of peace that fourteen years since her passing, no one cares that the new Avatar has yet to be found. Even back in Avatar Korra's era, people were relying on the Avatar less and less, so it's no wonder that most people wouldn't be bothered by the idea of us being done with Avatars.

Not me, though. As both a member of the Order of the White Lotus and someone who grew up reading story after story about the past Avatars, I never once thought that the world didn't need one, so when they needed someone to go looking for the Avatar, I put myself up to the task!

There were certain circumstances that made it not exactly a choice on my part, but still, I got to look for the Avatar, and somehow, I found her in a world of magic, a young witch named Amity Blight. She couldn't have cared less about being the Avatar, but I knew with all my heart that I needed to help her come into her own.

I couldn't explain it, but I knew that Amity would save both of our worlds.
