It all starts with the end.
Han Jisung - a poor, orphaned college student with nothing but a dream to build a better life for himself and his sister - crosses paths with Lee Minho - better known as Venom, a notorious figure in the organized crime world - when two kilograms of cocaine are mistakenly delivered to Jisung's house. Minho accuses him of theft, forcing Jisung to choose between paying an impossible debt or dying at the hands of the terrifying gangster who refuses to leave him alone.
And just when Jisung is convinced the nightmare has reached its peak, he is blindsided when Minho reveals his real intentions - a fate far crueler than death.
Stripped of his freedom, Jisung is dragged into the Mafia, given a new identity, and tied to Minho in an unbreakable bond: a forced marriage that will keep them bound together, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health... until Jisung's secret escape plan does them part.
