Mila was only 14 when her parents divorced. Now 17 & a rebel her mom decides to take them to Carabee Island to spend time with their dad. While her 10 year old sister Tahjae is thrilled about this, Mila is not because after the divorce she feels her life is nothing but a lie. When her mom breaks her new engagement off and her parents find theirselves falling for each other again Mila seems to think her life might get better again. Until her moms ex fiancee comes to win Mila's mom back and Mila finds herself falling for the wrong person and the wrong person falling for her.
