In Fiore, 400 years ago there was a young boy, all alone on the forest, and in that forest he met his family, family of dragons. They were skeptical at first but they accepted him in open arms. They were not only a tribe of dragons, they were know as the devastating Shōmetsu clan. Soon the boy learned the a power that rivals that of the apocalypse dragon slayer magic: Annihilation dragon slayer magic. Through the times he spent with them he mastered his powers. But then one day he wakes up and sees none of his family. Ever since then he searched for his family, and one day he meets a man with orange hair and an fairy emblem, he decides to bring him back to his guild, and that from that day, he would become the most powerful dragon slayer, and have the biggest family. The land of Fiore has been thriving for a long time. In recent years dragon's have begun to plague the land. The guilds have barely been able to fight against them. The leader of the dragons is non other then the chaos dragon, Acnologia and his only son, Natsu. About a few weeks ago Lucy Heartphilia joined the guild to help in defending against dragon attacks. One day Acnologia sends Natsu to finish the job. The dragons start by attacking Magnolia primarily to wipe out Fairy Tail. In the middle of the battle while instructing the other dragons, Natsu gets distracted when he sees Lucy and blacks out. He was shot out of the sky and taken into Fairy Tail's custody.
