In the freezing and shivering night, a shadow wandered between the woods before entering Oxyn, a vast community of powerful witches built from its heroic ancestors who managed to control the fire element. Although magnificently fragile, Novah was the name of the baby girl who had been unmistakably fortuned with a pair of strange features: a cryptic mark tattooed on the skin of the child's spine and the prophecy which foreshadows the birth of a dangerous power. If the sayings are correct and history repeats itself, Novah had been kissed by Mystral, the ghost of the dark witch who haunts souls and destroys lives, leaving the mortals with poor control over their own fate and on the verge of going mad, for the power that bares within is tremendous and unstable. Until mortals can control their own element, they can't complete the ritual hosted by the Annual Tournament to become one with magic or dispose of their human limitations. After being alive for a whole century, Leon Aegon, head of the defenses squad, is the only immortal who fought and survived against the darkness impaled by the ghost, though being able to manipulate all five elements certainly held a price. When he finally finds about the secret the girl holds, soon he realizes her mark is not like his, but much more obscure. Still, as uncertainty spikes, and the tournament begins, Leon may be the one source of hope young Novah can hold on to.

In a land where the forest whispers with ancient power, the Viravyn, a once-immortal race bound by the magic of their gemstone eyes, were the protectors of the earth and its secrets. Each gem carried the strength of nature itself-wisdom, time, strength, and fate. But when the Kingdom of England, driven by greed, attacked their peaceful homeland, the Viravyn's fate was sealed in blood. A promise made after the first battle kept them safe for a time-but the heart of man, consumed by avarice, would not be denied. The king, hungry for their power, broke his vow, launching a merciless attack on the Viravyn as they slept. Only one survived the massacre: Araneth, a mother from the Thalwyn Clan, who fled with her unborn child. In hiding within a small village near London, Araneth concealed the truth of her people, her eyes hidden from the world. She raised her daughter, Neravyn Solalith, teaching her how to survive in a world that would never accept them, even as the scars of their lost heritage festered within her. But when the soldiers return, hunting the last of the Viravyn, Araneth's final sacrifice ignites the spark of vengeance in her daughter's heart. Now, Neravyn must journey into the heart of the forest that once belonged to her people. The curse of her bloodline will lead her toward the truth of her mother's sacrifice, the truth of the gems that bind her fate, and the truth of a revenge that will burn the world to its core. The forest waits, the moon watches, and the blood of the Viravyn calls.
