Then two more people die. Witness to it all is children's book author Evangeline Lilly. Those related to the couple victims are called to gather together.
This leads to a chain of events that reveals a tangle of past loves, past beef, and intrigue. A counselor rounds everyone up who's affected by the LA murder spree, which has no sign of stopping soon. The counselor plans to fix relationships among the group so they can take further action to stop the murders, but it all goes awry. From stories of scandal, finally one thing is clear: Charlie needs a vole. Rich mansion owner Ross Geller owes him one from an old poker match.
