This story's about a pack of therians. In this story therians can shift from human form into the form of their theriotypes. It's an in-progress story. I'm basically just cleaning up an outline I've had for a while and still defining the plot. Sorry if it's slow-moving, too descriptive, confusing, ect. But I promise to update as often as possible.

Long ago, the five wolf packs of the Crucible Valley lived together as one. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Lightning lived together as equals. Unfortunately, this was not meant to last. The Pack of Water tried to make itself supreme amongst the packs, claiming that the Gods had given divine right to rule. An alliance of all four packs pushed them back... but at a cost. The Pack of Lightning has made itself the leaders of the valley. They claimed this was to unite and defend the packs in case the Pack of Water ever returned, but 100 cycles(years) later, it's clear this was just an excuse to rule over all other packs. Now the Pack of Lightning has grown complacent as a sinister plot is spreading in the High Alpha's court. Meanwhile, the other packs fight over the scraps of territory and prey that remain. Worse yet, a new danger arises in the far north. The Pack of Water, reborn as the Pack of Ice, seeks to return to Crucible valley. Hardened by the severe cold, their wolves are stronger than ever. Their mysterious leader, a white wolf with blue eyes, is on the march to conquer what he sees as rightfully his. It is a common practice that when one Alpha challengers another, the defeated wolf can either be banished into exile from the pack lands or be put to death if he or she refuses to go. Braydon Winters father, couldn't bring himself to leave the lands where his mate was buried and so once the fight was lost - welcomed the chance to be returned to her side. When the old Alpha was defeated, his now orphaned son became burdened with the same decision to make; stay and die or run. He ran. Angry and hurt his Father would leave him to fend for himself, scared and alone with no pack to take care of him - Braydon kept running until his wolf told him to stop and slowly his new life began. Problem with that was, sooner or later, life was bound to catch up with Braydon, but when it does will the human within the wolf costume be able to handle it?
