It's been 5 years since the Battle of Hogwarts and life has just started to feel normal again for Hermione. After breaking up with Ron and getting her first lead job at the Ministry, she feels as though she has everything under control - that is until Draco Malfoy turns up out of the blue and is assigned to her case.

And if working with Malfoy wasn't bad enough, the fact that a group of Dark Wizards are after him, makes everything 10x worse.
