Epiphany
[ih-pif-uh-nee] adjective -
the sudden realization or comprehension of the (larger) essence or meaning of something.

"Meeting you gave me an epiphany of sorts,"

Life isn't easy. Everyone faces their predicaments and sometimes things just doesn't turn out the way they want it to be.

The same goes for Lee. She likes to think that she isn't cold hearted - just prefers to be distant. Reliance is something she absolutely detests, and she's a little on the sarcastic side.

Cue in Cal. He's quite the opposite - outgoing, emotional, genuine and pretty much your boy-next-door. He likes the idea of pleasing people - regardless whether he truly enjoys it or not.

Put the two broken pieces together when Cal decides he wants to end his life and Lee was just in time to witness it.

Truth is, she really doesn't give a fuck.
