YN LN was born with wealth, as the only child of the LN he was the next to take the chair of his late father and become the head of the CN. Like any rebellious son, YN has no interest inheriting such a 'boring' job, and so he was inspired by his step-grandfather to become a Fighter.

His step-grandfather is a well known light-weight boxer and had titles  such as the "Heavenly Fist". And is the only one who won in eight different weight classes earning as a world class boxer in remnant. Aspired by his step-grandfather, YN did not waste time and flew to Vale for his step-grandfather to teach him the way of Boxing. YN would soon later prove his self to be  natural and at the age of 7 he would won his first major tournament for Vale's Junior boxing tournament.

Winning his first tournament he was met by many sponsors , he gladly took all the offers and learned many more things.
At the age of 9 YN was titled as the world's best junior boxer.  Such as achievement was only capable when you only won many major tournaments, and YN did. He won over 12 major tournaments around not just Vale but also of the four kingdoms, and he had not lost once.

One would seem that he has a bright future and they would continue to be an aspiring boxer but YN grow old of boxing, and so he would turn his way to martial arts.

Many years after his disappearance to the eye of the public, but he would come out with a bang, YN shook the world with his newly found skills as well as his growth into many things.

But one thing would shoke the world forever, his discoveries of his semblance. His semblance gaves him access to chanel his aura to create energy and energy that would turn into power, and he would soon to create elements in his hands wether it be Fire, Ice, Water, Wind, Lightning you name it with this newly found powers he was titled "Heavenly fist" approved by the councils of the four kingdom. 

As such he was invited to enroll to Beacon, and soon he would meet Yang and he would fall for.

Due to Qrows' semblance and a messy end to they're relationship, He was mostly absent but he did try to be there for the children when he could. But everything soon went down hill when Summer disappeared. The children where heartbroken but Tai, saddened and enraged at Summers disappearance began to take his frustrations out on the children. Y/N would try to make the most of it, and protect Yang and Ruby from Tais' wrath, often times taking a beating and going without food for days. As time went on Tai got increasingly worse, and Y/N became the sole target of abuse. Yang and Ruby would try to help as best they could but it wasn't enough, Y/N could bare it no more. Y/N attempted to contact Qrow and reveal the conditions and fear they lived in, But Tai got him first. Beaten bloodied, Y/N would take a moment to recover and escape with his sisters....
