Nothing ever happens in Fargo. Most days, it's barely warm enough to step outside for more than fifteen minutes, and the monotony settles over the town like snowdrift. So when mutilated bodies start turning up in grotesque, unrecognizable heaps, the quiet edges of hysteria begin to creep in.

Harry Styles understands why his friends are suddenly so captivated by the investigation because, again, nothing ever happens in Fargo. Against his better judgment, he agrees to tag along to one of the crime scenes, to watch from a distance as the police work. He keeps his usual calm, detached. But that composure begins to crack.
