YEARS APART

"We will meet again," uttered Hyunjin confidently.

"And when will that happen?" Asked the girl who sat beside him. Hyunjin smiled and gazed away at the stars.

"It will, when life is no longer tolerable. When there will be no valid reasons to keep moving forward, and no clear final destination for our steps. It will happen on a day in which the streets will be filled with white snow, and the cold breeze will scare people away back to their houses. And amid the dull grey-painted sky, and the strangers' unfamiliar faces, the trifling sunlight will find its way to guide our paths towards each other."

Hyunjin smiled again, looking at the girl shyly.

"I can't explain it, but I know it was worth enduring all those years apart," He professed, gazing at her.
