When I was a few months old, my parents were slaughtered by the alpha of a wolf pack that they had ventured too close to. Alpha Scott Ray of the Bluemoon Pack had hunted down and killed nearly every werefox in North America, claiming to his pack members that they were too dangerous and unpredictable to be left alive and to roam freely. Luna Sydney disagreed, citing the Old Words to him, that werefoxes are children born of both the Moon Goddess and the Sun God. She ordered that I be spared and brought back to her, and she was furious with Scott, demanding that he should now be forced to care for me, and raise me as his own because of what he did to my family. And for five years, she made sure he did just that. Luna Sydney never left my side until the day the rogues attacked and she was brutally murdered in front of Alpha Scott. It made him snap, and his anger was then turned on me. Even though I wasn't to blame for the attacks or the loss of my mother figure, he still ordered the pack to treat and use me as nothing more than the pack slave.
