In 1959, Robert Bloch wrote his classic thriller-horror novel, Psycho. It was adapted to film the following year by Alfred Hitchcock, which starred Janet Leigh as Marion Crane, and John Gavin as Sam Loomis, Marion's lover.

Eighteen years later, John Carpenter and Debra Hill produced the legendary film, Halloween. With Janet's daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis taking the lead role of Laurie Strode, John and Debra chose to name a character in their film after a character in Psycho as homage-and thus-we were introduced to Dr. Sam Loomis, the obsessed psychiatrist who struggles to keep his patient, Michael Myers, incarcerated at Smith's Grove Hospital, where he belongs.

So, what if the two characters of Sam Loomis were, in fact, one and the same person?

We all know the stories, but what happened in the time between them, and just how could these two worlds collide with one another?

This work of fan fiction follows Sam Loomis over nearly two decades, examining the time between the set stages of PSYCHO and HALLOWEEN-his stance against psychological warfare-his own grieving a great loss and trying desperately to find a place in the world, and in life, where he can put the past behind him-and his undying quest to save another soul from enduring the same pain he has.

Purely Fan Fiction.
No money involved.
Strictly for the love.

He lunged forward and grabbed the neck of her shirt, pulling her upwards. He couldn't stand to hear her regret her innocence. It was something he had always cherished about her, and he wouldn't accept that that monster had made her question it. He searched her eyes for it desperately, he needed to see that she was still in there. The thought that the world would tarnish the one thing he cared about was killing him. He released his grip as that last thought sunk in, but stood where he was. This new realization was almost terrifying to him. All those confusing feelings, the pit in his stomach when he watched her cry and the way he couldn't seem to stay away from her, that strange desire he had. It all started to make sense. He cared. "Michael," she said softly. The sound of his name dripping from her lips was something he had no idea he craved so badly. "Show me how to do it." He tilted his head in question. "Show me how to kill him." Warnings: Violence, gore, etc. it's Michael Myers so it can't be avoided Domestic Violence Possible NSFW at some point?? I'll make sure to post any others as we go The chapters are named after songs, their lyrics are like a little bonus part of the story so if you want to give them a listen, i think you'll appreciate it :) Plus if you couldn't tell by the rest of my work, I'm a classic rock junkie, so it just made sense 🤷🏼‍♀️ Playlist at this link⬇️ https://open.spotify.com/playlist/48bDYLAmfzmH8TUfCjd2PM?si=1tOzgz4rTxeTAhp2qc59rA

[THIS GOT REWRITTEN] [QUICK NOTE: I took inspiration from Halloween (2007) {The Remake} , partly because this Michael seemed to talk more (at least when he was a kid). Plus the plot was a lot more interesting than the original (in my opinion please no hurt me). Keep in mind "Inspiration", the events won't be the same. ALSO, I KNOW the school meeting with Deborah and Loomis was on Halloween in the film but I changed it to a day before.] DESCRIPTION: (Y/n) (L/n); a bright and bubbly nine-year-old who lost her father in a car accident in Tucson, Arizona. Her bouncy personality shadowed into a shy but sweet one, her and her mother grieving over their loss. Both changed, they moved to Haddonfield a year later - (Y/n) meeting Michael Myers himself. At first the blonde-haired boy seemed friendly and fun to hang out with, but as Halloween loomed ominously around the corner, Michael began to grow creepy, clingy and colder - even growing possessive of (Y/n). After a slaughtering showdown, her mother took her out of town; moving away from the dangerous borough. You moved back into the old house fifteen years later - not living with your mother anymore. You were enjoying the single life, with its perks of being free and not held back, but soon things began to go wrong. Suddenly your mother turns up; being a stressful mess after the Halloween disaster. Memories flood back in the form of nightmares, something caresses your skin whilst you're sleeping, and dead things start showing up on your doorstep. Your mother grows clingier, you grow more frustrated and out of nowhere your old friend returns. Will he spare you? Or will you never breathe again?
