(This is a COMPLETED novel and I will be releasing a new chapter every few days!) Thanks to her old cheer coach, 22 year old Raelynn Lennex is finally out of her childhood home; she is leaving her traumatic past behind to go to college and start over. Between juggling schoolwork, cheer practice, and her crazy roommate, Raelynn has no time for anything else. No alcoholic dad, no dead mom, no love, and absolutely no young adult grief support group with Carol Littlewood. But when she tries to break that promise, she immediately realizes that skipping is not an option. 24 year old Callum Brooks loves his Aunt Carol more than anyone, but group therapy is always a bummer. Even hers. Nonetheless, Carol saved Callum when his twin sister died and his parents gave up on him, so he agrees to join her new group this fall. He has no idea that the six others in this group (Raelynn, Brooklyn, Elijah, Seth, Luna, and Addison) will completely change his life. Especially one loud mouthed, stubborn as hell, 22 year old Brat.

The Larsen/Santos family and half of our beloved Rivera family get to spend a fun day at Havenford's annual fall festival. And after seeing each other for the first time in fifteen years, Parker and Astrid use this as an opportunity to catch up more from their previous conversation at Cafe Royale. Through the festival excitement, Angie meets Parker and quickly recruits Amber to help set them up with Astrid. Though her match making skills may be less than perfect. But she is determined to not let her inexperience with love get in the way of Astrid's happiness. And it may be an opportunity to help her build courage in her own love life. But things take an interesting turn when Parker and some friends they've made through unexpected reunions invite Astrid out to a night of fun at Bronze Brew. Though Astrid seems hesitant by the invitation and the guest list, she decides to try her best to be there to spend more time with Parker before they leave her. Again. However, things may not go as planned when Astrid finds herself working through old feelings and caring about things in Parker's life that she worries may just not be any of her business. Not anymore. And after a fun night gone wrong, she accidentally goes too far to defend them. Especially since it seems like they don't want her help in that department. Not if it turns into pure chaos. She just hopes it isn't too far that she cannot rekindle some old feelings, even if it's solely through friendship and moral support.
