"Am I fool for trying Mr. Hale?"
He looked me up and down, then spoke a simple word "No".
I stood speechless when he uttered the word. Breathlessly calling his name "Ryan?"
Pounding in my chest as he practically looked through me to my soul. His body turns toward mine and he takes his first stride.
He is too close to me now. What do I do?
I can smell his minty fresh breath. "Is there something you wanted to say Ms. Serenity?"
Fuck it. I do the first thing that comes to mind...

I kiss him.
