Humans hunted and slaughtered every mythical being ,that soon they met their end and died out over the past four centuries or so they thought they did.
Kacey is a horse shifter around 3 years old in her horse form but 16 years old in her human form,she hid peacefully not knowing what had befallen her kind and was raised by a herd of wild horses who were descended from the horses from the first ice age or that's what she was told through the stories she was told by the old lead mare who helped raise her.
When kacey's herd is being chased down by men on horseback one spring day she realised that the lead mare's stories weren't made up to scare us youngsters but to prepare us.
Hayden Jones lives on the Jones valley ranch with his father and three brothers running a stud cattle farm and training horses which isn't easy.His mother passed away when he was around 9 but he still remembers the bedtime stories she told him,the ones of horses who could shift into humans and stories of other mythical beings but they weren't real.or are they???
When Hayden made a bet with some of his friends and other neighbouring ranchers who help with rounding up wild horses for their yearly spring round ups.
Little did he know he had his work cut out for him.could he win the bet????.
Or will kacey's secret be found out in the end???
