Antonina is a strong independent woman. Daughter of a simple minded mechanic father with complicated background. Her simple and idle life revolves around food, her father, job of being an automotive mechanic and being an annoying friend. That's before meeting a man who will add more spice to her daily life.

Let's follow the ups and downs of her budding love (or not.)

An exerpt:

"Hey, man I like you." An unlikely confession from a woman who holds a very strong personality and has a very stuborn character, too.

A declaration of affection blurted out of the blue will likely to shock the person being confessed to.

. . .

"I . ." Stuttering due to the gravity of the situation he's thrown in, the man lost his composure and so the words came out as broken and unorganize.

"I don't like you." Finally the words were spoken after a minute of hesitation.

"Why?." Rejection is one of the things that will surely break fragile hearts even for a stuborn one.

With finality and conviction, a reply is given.

"I am not comfortable with the likes of you. Sassy and difficult to handle. And more importantly, I don't have the guts to love a woman that is more 'BARAKO' than me. Besides, I already have a steady commitment and I will never give her up for you."

Words that pricked her heart. Deep.

But as stuborn as she is with the little pride left after all her struggles to keep up with him amidst her breaking heart:

''Kung makapagsalita ka parang wala tayong pinagsamahan. Bakit sa tinagal tagal nating magkasama wala ba akong naiambag sa buhay mo?." She said with stable and composed tone.

. . .

"Pero bahala ka na nga sa buhay mo. Hindi naman kita kailangan. Hindi ka kawalan sa buhay namin ng tatay ko 'no. Letse ka."

She stormed out determined to forget everything.
