On January the 12 of 2012 I lost a dear friend to me and it was my grandpa Mr. Dalton Peter Brooks. When I was in the eighth grade I was at school one Friday morning and someone got me out of class and when I went to the office I saw my dad and I was thinking that there was something bad that happened. After he got me and my brother and my sister out of school I saw my cousin in the truck. Then we were on our way home and my dad said olivia when u go into the house put ur book sack in ur bedroom go into ur brothers room. When we went in he told us that my grandpa died and I was like no no no it can't be. Then I started crying my eyes out.

"Thanks Ally." I grabbed all the flowers then ran back to the car. I drove to the grave. I threw all my stuff into my bag. I grabbed the flowers and I pulled my bag over my shoulder and got out. I looked around and saw people young and old coming here to see their loved ones. I saw my families graves. Almost my whole family will be buried here. My grandpa always said it was sacred. With Griffin it's different. His touch is comforting and tingly, definitely one of the most pleasant feelings in the world.
