In an alternate story set during Imperial Meiji Era, Himura Kenshin, once a famous legendary manslayer known as hitokiri battousai now led a peaceful married life with his wife, the Assistant Master of Kamiya Dojo, Kamiya Kaoru. This short chronicle covered a pinch of Kenshin's life after he had settled down, following the last battle he had with his brother-in-law, Yukishiro Enishi, a short glimpse of his destructive past life as a paid assassin and how he spent his later life.
