They say that life is what you make it. They lie. I like to think of life as a road trip. You don’t know what will happen or where you will end up. There will be obstacles that you need to overcome (a hell of a lot of them) to get where you want to be. You never know where you will end up, or who you will meet on the way.
Alyx has had a lot of bumpy roads and pot holes. Her Dad left when she was three months old, her Mum has a terminal illness and Alyx is slipping through the slope to depression. When her Mum goes into hospital and is told she only has days to live, Alyx has to move to the other side of the world to live with her Dad. How will she cope?
